Hello, my name is Bethany Taylor, and I am a Therapist Intern dedicated to helping individuals navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and the impact of difficult experiences. I provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
I am currently completing my graduate training at Grand View University and work from a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building insight, emotional regulation skills, and practical tools that support resilience and long-term growth. My clinical interests include emotional regulation, relationship concerns, and trauma.
I value collaboration and intentionally tailor therapy to each client’s goals, strengths, and needs. I am committed to fostering a strong therapeutic relationship that supports self-exploration, confidence, and sustainable change.
I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship concerns, couples counseling, postpartum concerns, and navigating life changes.
