My name is Anna Hummel, and I am a clinical intern at Hope Family Counseling. I attend Walden University, where I am working towards my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
My person-centered and trauma-informed approach will allow us to work collaboratively towards your goals. I am a Relational therapist, but often draw from theorietical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and internal family systems (IFS). My biggest goal is to support my clients, so attuning to each individual's needs is a top priority.
I enjoy working with young adults, queer and gender non-conforming individuals, neurodivergent individuals, and couples. I provide neurodivergent- and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Human rights are non-negotioable in my professional and personal perspective.
I am committed to supporting you through the uncertainties of life. Whether you are experiencing an overwhelming transition, processing grief or trauma, grappling with gender identity, or anything in between, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to support you!
